Ideal Stripmaster wire strippers, fantastic tools. There is the classic tool frame which is a bit larger and can take stripping die sets with as many as 6 strip sizes. The newer stripmaster light fits very nicely in the hand, easier to get into detailed work, and takes 30% less operating force. They do have a slightly smaller head so usually only have 4 strip sizes and so you often need two pairs for the common sizes of Type55 aerospace wire. But did you know, if the tool has blue handles it is fitted with standard strip dies and is probably under £100. If it has the black handles it has the aerospace precision dies and can cost nearer £400 a pair. Does anyone want us to do a deep dive into these specialist stripping tools?
