You have a short length of small diameter heat shrink that won’t quite over your splice, this little tip allows you to gently stretch small diameter parts. Just insert your thin nose pliers or tweezers, then slide a flat blade screwdriver in between the blades, a light twist of the screwdriver and it will tease the shrink just enough. Great with the tough stuff like CRN and Kynar.
